This is an ongoing, time-intensive project with lots of research; I will have new photos soon

Welcome to my site, where you will be able to enjoy never-before seen ‘accidental’ stereo images of the famous ship Titanic, in true stereoscopic 3D! I’d like to stress that these are not CG images, nor are they “conversions” from 2D images, and they are definitely not the more commonly photographed sister ship Olympic (except perhaps in the case of two amazing 3D views of the Grand Staircase, but that exception had to be made, as apparently there are no known photos of Titanic‘s). Most are exterior views of the ship, ranging from her construction, fitting out, launch, trials, and farewell, but also included are interior views and even a few images of Captain Smith and his crew!

My search for ‘accidental’ stereos of the great ship commenced when we found out that my wife had a relative who perished on that fateful maiden voyage. Thinking I’d be lucky to find a mere few, I was stunned every time a new one literally popped out of my search. In all, I found thirty 3D images of the life of Titanic.

The extent to which I’ve changed the images is limited to simple exposure & geometric shape matching between the two members of what I think constitutes a single stereo pair. These are not CG, nor converted from 2D.
